Borne out of Eveden, the brands parent company founded in the 1920’s, Freya as a brand was launched in 1998.

The brands initial aim was to assist women with larger bust sizes to look and feel great. In the mid-noughties Freya caused a stir by introducing their J-Cup size opening up their range to a new group of women.

In 2002 they first launched their range of ‘Freya Swim’ beachwear collection enabling women to take the Freya comfort and style to the beach.

In 2008 they launched the ‘Freya Active’ range aimed at the emerging sport and fitness market with the main goal of providing comfort and maximum support to the wearer.

Other notable ground breaking innovations include their launch of ‘K Cup’ sizes as well as their first moulded shaping bra offering a seamless answer to women for figure enhancement.

Over the past few years Freya have also increased their range of ‘Active’ style products to include the ‘Active Swim’ collection.

In 2010 they were also awarded Global Lingerie Brand of the year, a coveted international award endorsing their popularity.
